About

This is a photo journal of Burnaby’s disappearing low-rise apartments, bungalows, and buildings.

Some structures have beautiful characteristics. Of particular interest to me are the doors with hand drawn signs and era specific designs.

More of these buildings are replaced with luxury tower projects each year. This is why I’ve decided to document them before they are demolished.

Clarification: This blog is not intended to comment on housing. It is purely a passion project to take photos of buildings I think are beautiful. It’s all about the aesthetics and curiosity for history here.
